I discovered that Laguna Clay Company makes “Mexo White Clay” which air-dries in 4 days and is paint-able IMMEDIATELY! This clay enables me to teach you how to sculpt AND how to paint a sculpture with acrylic paints and other finishing products on the same day! So, come join the sculpting fun and learn the techniques you can use on your own at home for years of sculpting pleasure!

MORNING SESSION:
10:00 A.M. – noon is sculpting from slab
Break for lunch on your own in Claremont.
AFTERNOON SESSION:
1:00 – 3:00 P.M. is painting & decorating
–Clay and most tools for sculpting & painting will be provided. Wear old clothes, trim you fingernails, and bring an old towel.
No prior experience necessary.
–Finished sculptures will be approximately 9” x 9” and made of air-dry clay which can be painted immediately and should never be fired.
You will go home with a sculpture & know how to make more on your own.
